The tool had potentially affected any subscription service that used Microsoft’s media format, including Napster, Virgin Music and even America Online’s own music subscription plan.

Of couse the beauty is, millions will still possess the existing version without upgrading. And somehow I don’t think they’ll be queueing up to upgrade for this feature…
