Sounds like everyone has been pitched down a few tones… what would cause that, do you know? Sounded the same yesterday…
The pitch is definitely lower than it should be, and the delivery pace equally slow. However, it skips ahead to catch up with itself, so it sounds odd and glitchy, but isn’t losing time over all.

It actually sounds to me like an encoding error. I blame the fact that they’re using Windows Media streams instead of something far more internet-ecologically friendly like an mp3 stream that doesn’t lock you into the use of a particular proprietary player.
Another possible explanation is that Hugh and I are both listening from the Northern Hemisphere, and as we all know, streams simply don’t run uphill.
