I’m trying something out here. This is a new embedded widget thingy that a few very savvy labels have cottoned onto. It allows you to embed one of these doodads into pretty much any sort of webpage or social networking site, and away you go.
I like Lee Perry – and this is from his most recent album, but that’s all kind of beside the point here. Something interesting has happened, it’s called Sonific — and Gerd Leonhard, the man who wrote the book The Future of Digital Music, is behind it.
Of course, this won’t be satisfactory until all music ever has been released this way — but listen, like and maybe even buy. Hopefully, that will come.

I even liked the Perry track. Usually, I find his recent work pales in comparison with his production work in the 70s.
Yup – works for me too. The Quicktime links you used to embed always crashed Internet Explorer on my PC so a crash-free alternative gets my vote!
