Putting my hand up for this: Blogger-read audio of Lessig’s book
AKMA has proposed a hell of a derivative work: he’s inviting any blogger who cares to read a chapter aloud, recording it and posting it, so that a distributed audiobook of the book will be produced.
In the interests of including an accent other than that of a native New Yorker to this worthy and fun project, I’ll be in the studio this week adding my trademark kiwi flat vowels, rising inflections and dark ‘L’s to this endeavour. I’ve asked – waiting for a response. It’d be kind of cool to offer up something on the radio front – and he did say any blogger…
That intro chapter on Edwin Howard Armstrong would be perfect. I’ll let you know how that comes along.
