Well… my thesis just got bigger. I’m in the process of writing a chapter about what digital technology and online media enhance as far as radio in the New Zealand context is concerned. Today, Maori radio stations took to the web en masse. I can add language and culture to the pile.
Now you can listen to the voices of different Iwi around New Zealand from wherever you are on the planet. This is, of course, a Very Good Thing – and it seems to have been handled quite well – though I’m not sure about the flash intro and the layout. Minor quibbles. This is great:
