I can’t for the life of me remember how long it is since I first started noticing my slow Internet speeds at home. I guess at the time I must have thought that this was some temporary glitch or perhaps related in some way to an intermittent fault of my internal wireless network, but now that I think about it, the 8 MB broadband speeds I’ve been paying for should not crawl along at the less than 1 MB speeds I’ve been experiencing.

And it turns out I’m not the only one. After a little bit of investigation, it turns out that not only is BT’s ADSL Max giving its customers real problems, getting those problems addressed in any useful way is a complete nightmare.

The trouble is, there doesn’t seem to be any real alternative. When BT’s good, it’s great. However, it was only good for about two weeks and now it’s beyond appalling.

I’d complain at length, but it seems to have already been done for me: just read the comments on this blog.

BT I going to have to get their stuff sorted out, or they’re going to have a geek riot on their hands.
