Entering his second decade as most under-appreciated hero of the Birmingham Music Industry, Mark Badger releases punk records, and organises tours by bands who seem to need close supervision when tying their shoelaces, all for a budget you could stick under a glass.

Mark is the only person I know who sees things with complete and utter clarity, and so is considered a bit mad by some, and frightens others. Mark is somehow convinced that he learns from our conversations — but I always get far more enjoyment and enlightenment out of it.

A toasted sandwich and a cup of coffee provides the mainstay of our meetings together.
