Our son. He’ll be 15 at the end of this year, and is in year 10 at school. His GCSE subjects include History, Music and Art. He’s a drummer and guitarist, and is a member of NAGTY (National Association for Gifted and Talented Youth), which means that sometimes he gets to go off to geek camp.

Jake’s a keen PC gamer and is developing an interest in photography and a taste for fine (read: expensive) food. Somewhat more vegetarian than I am, but can demolish a good seafood platter with little encouragement.

Now that I think about it, quite a few people only know me as ‘Jake’s Dad’.
