These might be more sporadic for a little while – not because I’m meeting fewer interesting people, but because the opposite is true. Our itinerary while we’re here in Medellín is crazy busy – lots of amazing people, events, and things to do.

So much so, in fact – that it needs its own blog – and so Jez Collins and I have continued the blog we started in India, and now it’s about our adventures in Colombia. It’s just called Dubber and Jez – and you can follow the story there.

You’ll here a lot more about Jeff there too. He’s with us over here. In fact, this was recorded on a train at the beginning of our long journey to South America.

When making media of any kind, one of the problems with interesting people is that quite often, they’re very interesting. And so when you’re trying to do a series of five-minute interviews, sometimes you’ll end up talking to them for much more than that.

My first instinct, because of my radio background, was simply to edit this 18-minute interview down to five. But then I figured that you might actually be interested in hearing the rest.

Besides – the ‘five minutes’ thing was just a device rather than an actual limitation of space or time. If you really want to stop listening after five minutes, you can – and you’ll still have heard a very interesting piece of audio about a very interesting man. However, if that first five minutes makes you want to hear more about Andrew Cowie, there’s more to hear.
