I bought the new Souncsci album on vinyl from Bandcamp yesterday. Five minutes later, I received an email from DJ Cro saying “I’ll drop it around on my way home from work”.
It just so happens that Cro is a friend of mine, runs the Crate Escape record label, and lives pretty locally. It was nice to see him as usual, and we had a smoothie and a catch-up.
Ridiculously great sounding record. Mastered to vinyl straight from reel-to-reel. Double album on heavy vinyl. About 12 minutes per side, so the signal-to-noise ratio is spectacularly good. Noticeably better than the digital (and I have the lossless version).
