Kapahaka at The Great Escape

When I went to The Great Escape in Brighton today, I knew there were kiwi bands playing, but I wasn’t expecting the full powhiri. Nice one.

I was there to co-present a panel of music consumers with Mike McNally – and we were there as emissaries of Un-Convention.

We sat a bunch of people who buy and listen to music down in front of a good sized group of music industry people and then we asked them what they did and how they did it.

As you might expect, it yielded some surprising responses.

And then we all went and watched The Veils play live on Brighton Pier. Perfect.

Right now:

"@steveguitarist GREAT film. Was recommending it to @plongy just this week."
