Chicago - part 4
Copyblogger’s Brian Clark speaks at SOBCon08
No disastrous travel stories to tell on the way back from Chicago, I’m happy to report. I know my travel mishaps make for great blog posts (who can forget the ‘New York via the Bermuda Triangle‘ saga or the ‘Lost in France‘ debacle - not to mention the recent ‘Manchester airport via Bristol‘ story?), but in this instance, I was delighted to have an entirely uneventful journey.
But the time spent in Chicago itself was a non-stop barrage of experiences, learning and culinary delights, thanks in no small part to my host, David Dalka.
David makes a political assertion
I have a number of stories to tell from Chicago, and so rather than make them one long blog post, I thought I’d go down the postcards route that I took on the New Zealand trip, and belatedly write some shorter pieces with a picture attached.
But let me preface that by saying I had a wonderful time - it’s an amazing city, and I’m still processing all of the great stuff I learned at SOBCon08.
