We’ve been in the new place nearly a week, and despite a busy few days that saw me out of town, Bobbie working each day and Jake having to find a new way to get to school, we think we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Or at least, the dinner plates at the bottom of the cardboard box.
The house is great and although we’ve had to go and get more stuff to fill it with (our last ‘unfurnished’ place came with a compulsory dining suite, ugly bedroom furniture and wingback armchairs), we think we’ve almost found a home for pretty much everything.
I’ll be posting photos soon – but in the meantime, just thought I’d say we made it, it’s mostly great and although we’re still stepping over piles of things, we can play music and we’re at the hanging pictures stage of the proceedings.
I’m stealing internet from the neighbours in order to blog this. Ours gets connected on Monday, all going well.

Stolen internet is da best! I stole McDonalds while at church on Sunday – just because it felt kinda good!
And don’t ask what I was doing with a laptop at church….
Happy new house :)
