Jake pokes at something’s flesh
It was Jake’s 15th birthday on Sunday. It was his cousin Aaron’s 14th that same day. So the two of them had a shared celebration with family. It was a bit of a traditional barbecue-themed cousins’ lunch, all the more similar because there were some missing people.
Kerryn, Haydn and Bobbie are in England. Grant had fallen ill the night before. Food poisoning perhaps, but it’s possible he had just become unwell ‘as a newt’ at a social gathering. Fiona was off somewhere being pregnant, and Nick is in Australia. Greg and Nadine are in the Hague. Otherwise, all the cuzzies were there.
Those who know the family will be delighted to hear we received a phone call from Aunty Bev. She talked to Mum, then asked to speak to each of the birthday boys, and she even asked to have a chat with me.
I asked her how she was…
Having a time. Wish you were.

nice top Jake
There definately seems to be a lot of ‘meat’ consumed over the past week or so?
