I’d seen New York in movies, of course. But for some reason, I hadn’t expected to see the movies in New York.
I went shopping in Midtown on my one afternoon off while in New York. I wandered streets that looked really familiar, though of course I’d never been there. Then I saw a face I recognised, and people were pointing cameras at him.
I texted Bobbie:
- Who was the gay guy in that movie with Jack Nicholson and the little dog where he won’t step on the cracks?
- As Good As It Gets. Greg Kinnear?
- I saw Greg Kinnear!
- Cool.
