Weird, I live in Oxford and I've never noticed it's full of clothes and shoe shops. Maybe it's a girl thing?

The last time I visited Oxford, there was a stupendous second hand vinyl record store just behind the Apollo Theatre. Boxes and boxes of classic Jazz like Sonny Rollins. Excellent.

If you like tea shops, try Betty's in York. The waitresses are dressed in the old fashioned way and the food arrives on little stands, but everyone there is dressed in normal clothes - none of this posh clientele lark!
