New York Minute 2: The Duty Free

I bought some whisky at JFK airport — and I nearly lost it. So glad I didn’t.

NadurraWhile this isn’t exactly an experience from my time in New York, it was something that I purchased there, and then had to go to great lengths to ensure that I was able to hang onto it when I left. This is what I was so keen to bring back with me:

The Glenlivet Nadurra.

It’s a cask strength, non-chill-filtered, 16 year-old single malt scotch… and it really is superb, as the nice Scottish man explains in his little video.

Watch it here.

Mmmmm :-) I don’t own a bottle of it, but I do like the Nadurra. I seem to remember it had almost a vanilla taste (but in a good way)?
