Especially when you get a

“500 – Internal Server Error”

and you’ve obviously entrusted these guys with your life.
Because it’s all so convenient and cool and…seductive. And you obviously haven’t backed up because …..you can’t.

This is the issue that I have with remote/collaborative services, be it .mac, zenlist or whatever. That and the constrained access to data.

It’s going to be great when we all have Wimax coverage and Web-enabled mobile devices, but until then, it’s Palm and base station synchronisation. Plus a backup of the backup.
