I’ve always been impressed by Simon Grigg – so it was quite humbling to be big-upped by him on his blog: The Opinionated Diner. Bookmark it – or put it in your RSS aggregator.
But I think that even more impressive than his track record in the music industry, his uncanny knack for knowing what’s cool – even (and perhaps especially) when to everyone else it’s clearly not cool – his tireless championing of the talented and his astonishing record collection (excerpts of which you can hear on George FM Wednesdays at 10am)… more impressive even than all that – is his success in giving up on the fingernail biting.
I’ve kicked meat. I’ve kicked cigarettes. But my nails are still a pretty poor sight. He’s the man who can do it all.
Congratulations are due on what has obviously been a resoundingly successful New Year’s Resolution. He deserves to be chuffed.
