I went to the meeting of the almost-incorporated society of Low Power FM Broadcasters tonight. There was an agenda, there was a will to move forward, a list of pending disputes that require addressing – and a procedure for resolving them.

It all seems like it’s swimming along nicely – and although I’ll be kept in the loop, I’m more than happy to leave them to their own devices. Way better outcome than I would have imagined. There are still, obviously, issues to resolve – but between those present (more than pictured above, obviously) and those others who have paid their subs or intend to shortly, I have high hopes for a healthy low power alternative media in Auckland.
Just one more loose end tied up before moving the family to the other side of the world. That was a really gratifying thing to be able to witness.
