Look at this: The Akira Motorcycle
There is a continuing – and seemingly global – move to make early 21st century reality resemble as closely as possible the Sci-fi films of the 1980s – and the examples just keep on coming.
This is a fully working prototype of a new bike that is essentially an authorised replica of the famous motorbike from the classic anime film Akira. It’s on display at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show this weekend. More pictures here.
